Four books of his poetry have been published in Mexico by Ediciones sin nombre.
Numerous poems have appeared in magazines in Mexico, the U.S. and France.
His book La Nada en Bruto has been translated into French by the poet
Franc Ducros and published in France as
Le rien rugueux (Théétète editions), and
into English by Suzanne Jill Levine as Nothingness in the Rough.
A collection of his poems over the past twenty-five years, Intolerante superficie,
is presently being translated into Italian
by the poet Nanni Cagnone. An anthology
of Gabriel Magaña Merlo’s poetry,
Lejos alcanzado aquí, was published by
Fondo de Cultura Económica in 2012.
